Three white cockatoos glide through a beautiful blue sky, their wings carrying them effortlessly towards the light.

There is a lovely sense of movement and possibility in this small yet spirited work, capturing that fleeting moment when the world feels wide open and anything seems possible.

Part of my Fly collection, Where Light Lingers celebrates freedom, lightness and the feeling of being carried beyond the everyday.

Although this original oil painting has found its forever home, it remains here to inspire you and perhaps remind you of a feeling you would love to bring into your own space. For art collectors and interior designers searching for original Australian art, this contemporary oil painting celebrates the beauty of Australian birdlife in a way that feels fresh, uplifting and timeless.

If this painting is your favourite, I would love to create a similar original oil painting inspired by the birds, colours and feelings that make your heart take flight.
