Under a brilliant blue sky, the ancient rocks of Hanging Rock glow in the sunshine, their earthy orange tones rising above the greens of the surrounding countryside. At the base, a family of kangaroos grazes peacefully on the grass, bringing a gentle sense of life and connection to this much-loved Australian landscape. Rich, expressive texture and stunning colour capture the warmth of a beautiful day in the Macedon Ranges, inviting you to pause, breathe and feel the quiet magic of the Australian bush.

Part of my Gather collection, Family Day Out at Hanging Rock celebrates the places and moments that connect us to one another and to the landscapes we call home. Although this original oil painting has found its forever home, it remains here for you to enjoy and imagine in your own space. For art collectors and interior designers looking for original Australian art, this textured landscape painting offers a distinctive piece of Australian country life, bringing warmth, colour and a sense of belonging to an interior.

If this painting is your favourite, I would love to create a similar original oil painting inspired by the places and feelings you hold dear.
