As the day draws to a close, two galahs settle together on the branch of a tree. One gently grooms the other, a tender expression of care that speaks of trust, companionship and the comfort of being understood. Soft pinks and calming blues create a beautiful sense of evening stillness, while the expressive texture of the oil paint brings warmth and life to this intimate little scene.

Part of my Gather collection, In the Heart of It All celebrates the connections that matter most, those quiet, everyday moments that remind us we are never quite alone. Although this original oil painting has found its forever home, I hope it brings a little moment of joy to your day. For art collectors and interior designers looking for original Australian art, this sweet galah painting is a gentle reminder of love and belonging, bringing colour, character and heartfelt meaning to a home.

If this painting is your favourite, I would love to create a similar original oil painting inspired by the birds, relationships or special moments that hold a place in your heart.
